Business leaders no longer make strategic decisions based on gut feelings or assumptions. Data analytics is now integral to every project and critical for intelligent decision-making. My job is to make data-driven decision-making easy as possible.
About Dwayne
Dwayne is motivated by the belief that everyone is capable of using data to make better decisions. He wants to make learning about data more accessible and contribute to decreasing the skills gap in analytics. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Dwayne worked as a software developer for five years before transitioning to a career in analytics. He now works as a Lead Analyst (First Citizens Bank), Director of Analytics (Range Fore Hope Foundation), and Executive Director (Equity Data Focus).

Data Strategy
Most businesses today aim to use data to improve operations, grow revenue, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies, but most don't have a strategy for getting there. A good Data Strategy includes a long-term plan that defines the technology, processes, people, and rules required to manage an organization's information assets. This plan consists of the vision for collecting, storing, sharing, and using data.
